Students Services and Related Fees
Different non tuition fees and levies are applicable depending on the campus you are predominately studying at.
- NZSM Students Association Subscription (Kelburn, Mount Cook & Albany based NZSM students)
$91.85 for 60 points or less
$139.20 for more than 60 points
NZSM students pay the membership fee for the Students’ Association for the Enrolling Institution, currently Victoria University.
Your subscription is compulsory and helps the Student Associations to provide the following services: orientation, representation on university committees, class reps, funding of clubs, Student Job Search, sporting events, entertainment activities and research on education issues.
- NZSM Combined Student Services Levy (Kelburn & Mount Cook NZSM based students)
$510 for all students
NZSM Combined Student Services Fee replaces the Massey & Victoria Student Services levies and the Massey Enrolment Fee.
The Student Services levy helps to provide the following services: Accommodation, Career Development and Employment, Counselling, Disability Support, Early Childhood Education (crèches), Financial Support and Advice, Student Health and Student Learning Support.
The Victoria Student Services Levy also contributes towards the cost of recreational and social services; and to the delivery and continuing development of the University’s IT infrastructure and services, including but not exclusive to, the provision of increased internet bandwidth and enhancing the wireless infrastructure.
- Student Assistance Levy (No GST) (Kelburn & Mount Cook based NZSM students):
$24 for all students
This levy is used to assist students suffering exceptional financial hardship.
- Massey Building Levy (Albany based NZSM students): $128
- Massey Enrolment Fee (Albany based NZSM students): $44
- Massey Student Services Levy (Albany based NZSM students): $200
