NZSM offers two main areas of specialisation to focus your jazz studies — Jazz Performance (compulsory for all Year 1 BMus students) and Jazz Composition (offered from year 2 in the BMus programme). Each area provides you with the opportunity to develop your unique composition interests and talents, and is tailored to suit the individual requirements of your chosen area of specialisation.
