Opeloge Ah Sam

Opeloge Ah Sam is a Samoan born musician who has worked in a variety of roles in the music industry as a pianist, music director, composer, church organist, teacher, stage-event manager and mentoring individual musicians and organisations. He graduated in 2002 with a Masters of Music from the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music in Australia majoring in Music Composition.
Opeloge is passionate about the power and ability of music to help others, bringing communities together and a way of educating and supporting young men and women to successfully achieve potential careers in the world of music. Opeloge is currently completing his Phd in Music at Victoria University with a particular focus on music composition and the role music plays in discovering and defining ones’ identity both as an individual and within a social and cultural context.
