MANTIS project on track
Reuben Bradley, Tui award winning drummer (and NZSM alumnus and artist teacher), has drawn together an outstanding group of musicians for a recording project which honours another outstanding musician: the late Drew Menzies.

Isabella receives Iosefa Enari Memorial Award
Creative New Zealand has named soprano Isabella Moore winner of Iosefa Enari Memorial Award in the 2012 Arts Pasifika Awards. Isabella is studying at Te Kōkī New Zealand School of Music towards a Bachelor's degree in Classical Performance Voice.

Classical Tui has NZSM connection
The Tui for Classical Album of 2012 was an all-NZ affair this year with all three finalists CDs being composed, performed, conducted, recorded and produced by New Zealanders, including NZSM lecturer Kenneth Young.

Griselda garners the Limelight
A Baroque opera with an NZSM connection has been nominated for Best Australian operatic production of 2012 in Limelight Classical Music and Arts magazine from the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.

Australasian award for Thomas
For the second time in consecutive years, a Classical Voice student from Te Kōkī New Zealand School of Music has returned from the Sydney finals of the IFAC Australian Singing Competition with a significant suite of awards and prizes.
