Facilities

Concert Venues
The NZSM has a variety of concert venues including the Adam Concert Room, the Conservatorium of Music Concert Hall, the Hunter Council Chamber and the Massey University Theatrette.

Instrument Collections
The NZSM has large and growing range of period instruments and copies available for students interested in rediscovering timbres familiar to Baroque and Classical period composers.

The Lilburn Electroacoustic Music Studios
There are four electroacoustic studios at the New Zealand School of Music.

Keyboard Labs
Both Kelburn and Mt Cook campuses have keyboard labratories available to NZSM students for individual practice and independent musicianship training.

Practice Facilities
NZSM students will have access to practice rooms at Albany, Kelburn and Mt Cook campuses. Each campus provides you with after hours access so you can practice whenever it best suits you.

Library
NZSM students will have access to the libraries of Kelburn, Mt Cook and Albany.

Hiring
Information on hiring venues, musicians and instruments.

Recording Studios
Both Kelburn and Mt Cook campuses have recording studios suitable for recording classical and chamber music to a professional standard.
